• Analyze, design, and recommend network hardware and software standards to ensure reliability, scalability, and security of the infrastructure
• Stay up to date with emerging network technologies, industry best practices, and continuous infrastructure improvements
• Monitor network service performance, availability, and SLA compliance, and drive continuous improvements to support operations
• Manage network infrastructure projects, including equipment upgrades, capacity expansion, and rollout of new network services
• Lead and supervise a small technical support team responsible for network infrastructure design, daily operation, monitoring, system utilization, and SOC operational support
• Provide hands-on technical leadership and escalation support for complex network, security, and infrastructure issues
• Maintain network asset inventory, manage firewall rules and security policies, and ensure network devices are kept up to date with firmware and security patches
• Oversee the lifecycle management of network infrastructure assets and coordinate with internal teams to plan timely replacement and replenishment
• Work closely with network hardware and software vendors to ensure timely delivery, implementation, testing, and commissioning of network infrastructure equipment

• Diploma or above in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or related disciplines
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in network infrastructure and IT operations, including at least 1 year in a supervisory or team-lead capacity
• Solid knowledge of enterprise network technologies, with professional certification such as CCNA / CCNP or equivalent cloud-based network management certifications preferred
• Strong understanding of network security concepts, firewall policy management, and infrastructure best practices
• Good command of written and spoken English, Chinese, and Mandarin to support technical documentation and cross-team communication
• Demonstrated ability to supervise and mentor a small technical team, providing timely guidance, performance feedback, and skills development support

The job holder’s major responsibilities are to:

• Work closely with other operational functions in controlling both shipside and landside operations and performance of tractors and equipment
• Execute and optimize barge scheduling plan from barge centre
• Assist Duty Superintendent/Duty Manager in assigning jobs to the team and allocating optimum resources within yard
• Arrange empty container collection and delivery
• Arrange container movement for CFS and container repairing services
• Arrange to facilitate container attributes validation, container inspection, reefer box inspection and cargo repacking

• Form 5 or above with 3 years relevant experience
• Conversant with PC application
• Knowledge in operational flow of container terminal
• Good written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese & Putonghua)

The job holder’s major responsibilities are to:

• Manage yard allocations, monitoring operation process and yard utilization levels
• Dynamic update yard allocation for keeping operation smooth
• Create housekeeping and internal moves as required

• Report any irregular activities to Duty Manager
• Prepare ITT job to transfer container between Kwai-Tsing Terminals
• Observe coming 48 hrs ITT volume and arrange proper ITT trucks resource
• Solve ITT enquiry, close communicate with neighbor terminals to ensure ITT operation effectivity
• Handle enquiry on ITT operations from external parties and ITT truck drivers

The ideal candidate should have / be:

• Degree holder in related discipline with 1 year relevant experience; or
• Diploma holder with 4 years relevant experience, or
• Form 5 or above with 6 years relevant experience
• Conversant with PC and Microsoft Office application (Word and Excel)
